Promoting democracy across the Commonwealth

One our evaluation consultants, Rob Watson, has recently completed an evaluation of the Commonwealth Secretariat’s Democracy Programme (2013 to 2017).  The evaluation study rated the Commonwealth Secretariat as a highly valued partner for Commonwealth countries.  Our recommendations, based on a thorough review of documents, interviews and meetings, survey results and face-to-face meetings in selected member countries, were discussed at a final workshop, held at Marlborough House, London, headquarters of the Secretariat.  The workshop was chaired by the Secretary General, Baroness Patricia Scotland.  The photo shows (left to right) Katalaina Sapolu, Head of Governance and Peace Directorate, Claire Cameron, Director, PAI, Baroness Scotland, Rob Watson, PAI evaluation consultant, and Evelyn Pedersen, Head of Evaluation and Learning.
